The new tool introduces a fourth interaction layer for the organization’s ecosystem, moving beyond traditional web applications and APIs. By utilizing a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, the system allows AI tools to execute tasks via natural language prompts while maintaining strict authentication and permission controls. This setup enables staff to run workflows across multiple databases from a single command, effectively removing the need to manually toggle between different products or committees.
To support this transition, the company is deploying its first team of Forward Deployed Engineers. These specialists will embed directly with campaigns and partner organizations to assist in integrating AI into daily operations. The initiative aims to automate repetitive administrative tasks, allowing staff to refocus their time on voter outreach and donor engagement ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.
