The finalists include Utah Talons outfielder Jadelyn Allchin, Carolina Blaze infielder Alyssa Brito, and Oklahoma City Spark infielder Sydney Romero. These athletes were nominated based on voting conducted by league general managers, head coaches, and associate head coaches. The winner will be unveiled on August 16 in Rosemont, Illinois, immediately preceding the AUSL All-Star Cup.
Allchin, a central figure in Utah’s consecutive championship runs, earned her nomination through elite closing speed and defensive instincts. Brito, a standout newcomer from the University of Oklahoma, anchored the Carolina defense with 27 putouts and 37 assists while maintaining a high level of reliability with only two errors. Romero, a veteran shortstop for the Spark, led her position in assists with 45 and recorded a .974 fielding percentage, cementing her reputation for highlight-reel plays throughout the season.
