BTQ Technologies Partners with Korea’s ITCEN Group for Quantum Security

BTQ Technologies has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korean IT conglomerate ITCENGLOBAL to integrate post-quantum cryptography into the nation’s critical financial and public-sector infrastructure. The partnership leverages ITCEN PNS’s existing regulatory-approved security platforms to deploy quantum-resistant defenses against emerging digital threats.

The collaboration focuses on scaling quantum-safe technologies across sectors where security is paramount, including digital identity, biometric authentication, and enterprise networks. By joining forces with ITCEN PNS—the group's specialized security subsidiary—BTQ aims to bridge the gap between theoretical quantum resistance and practical, large-scale implementation. ITCEN PNS recently secured KCMVP validation for its hybrid cryptographic modules, a critical certification for supplying government and public institutions in Korea.

ITCENGLOBAL, which reported 8.9 trillion KRW in 2025 revenue, provides a massive distribution channel through its network of nearly 20 subsidiaries. For BTQ, this agreement offers a strategic entry point into one of the world’s most advanced digital markets. The partners intend to test and commercialize solutions that protect sensitive data against the future risks posed by quantum computing, effectively applying BTQ’s technical expertise to the established delivery frameworks already serving Korea’s banks and defense systems.
