Owner Justin Walsh prioritized sustainability during the initial design phase of the Rosemount project, viewing the custom array as a core component of the brand’s identity rather than an afterthought. To execute the technical requirements, the brewery partnered with All Energy Solar, a firm that managed the project lifecycle from initial energy analysis to final permitting and construction. The project team secured financial viability by navigating federal tax credits, bonus depreciation, and a USDA REAP grant.
The system’s east-west orientation utilizes Enphase microinverters to optimize production cycles throughout the day. Beyond the immediate energy output, the setup provides granular monitoring capabilities, allowing the brewery staff to track performance across individual array segments. Walsh noted that the 25-year warranty on these components provides a level of operational security that exceeded his initial expectations.
