The legal complaint alleges that Alibaba executives issued materially misleading statements and withheld critical information regarding the company's operational risks. Specifically, the lawsuit contends that the firm failed to disclose its ties to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which, under the National Defense Authorization Act, classifies the company as a Chinese military affiliate. Furthermore, the suit claims the company concealed that it was actively conducting distillation attacks against third-party artificial intelligence models, rendering previous public assurances regarding business prospects baseless.
