Mahoney Environmental Appoints Laura Nortamo as Finance Vice President

Nortamo arrives at Mahoney from Neste, where she served as Head of Global Financial Services since 2022. During her tenure there, she focused on centralizing accounts payable and general ledger operations while spearheading company-wide ERP system enhancements. Her appointment marks a transition in leadership, as she succeeds Teija Pajamo in the role.

Dave Kimball highlighted Nortamo’s background in building high-performing finance functions as a key driver for the company’s ongoing efforts to scale operations. Before her work at Neste, Nortamo spent a decade at KPMG focusing on audit and compliance. Her career spans twenty years of leadership across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, retail, and pharmaceuticals, with a specific focus on process optimization and digital implementation.
