Huntington Bank Taps Laricke Blanchard for Washington Expansion
Huntington National Bank has appointed public affairs veteran and attorney Laricke Blanchard to head its growing government relations office in Washington, D.C. As senior vice president and director of congressional and regulatory relations, Blanchard arrives with three decades of experience across the legal, financial, and federal policy sectors.

Barbara Benham, Huntington’s chief public affairs officer, described the appointment as a milestone in the bank’s 160-year history. According to Benham, the bolstered D.C. presence will allow the Columbus-based lender to better represent the interests of its investors and communities. Blanchard noted that he intends to leverage his background to support the bank's long-term commitment to community-focused growth and customer service.
