Chairman and CEO Lishan Aklog highlighted progress within the company's core subsidiaries, noting that Veris Health has accelerated its engagement with OSU-The James. Veris is currently moving its implantable physiological monitor toward an FDA 510(k) submission expected in early 2027, with manufacturing tests currently underway. Concurrently, the firm's diagnostics arm, Lucid, secured its first laboratory benefit manager coverage policy for the EsoGuard Esophageal DNA Test, which is now recognized as medically necessary by multiple health plans.

Financial statements filed for the quarter ending June 30 show operating expenses of approximately $7.1 million. While GAAP net loss reached $5.5 million, or $0.87 per diluted share, the company reported a non-GAAP adjusted net loss of $1.7 million, or $0.27 per share, to account for stock-based compensation and other non-cash charges. Meanwhile, the medical device portfolio saw success with the PortIO system, which recently demonstrated 100% device patency in its first-in-human study, setting the stage for a planned FDA pre-submission meeting in the fourth quarter of 2026.
