The festival bill features LL COOL J himself alongside R&B group SWV, the duo Method Man & Redman, and Lil’ Kim. A centerpiece of the evening is a curated set by D-Nice, which includes appearances by The LOX, David Banner, and LeToya Luckett. Organizers emphasize that the event aims to serve as a bridge between the genre’s pioneers and modern listeners, reinforcing the festival’s role as a guardian of the culture.

Beyond the performances, the organizers are planning community-focused initiatives to mark the holiday season, with further details expected in the coming weeks. Shelby Joyner, president of the Black Promoters Collective, noted that the partnership seeks to produce high-level live experiences that honor Black culture. Tickets will be available to the general public starting August 21 at 10:00 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
