The curriculum addresses foundational inquiries, such as the historical origins of meditation, optimal session lengths, and techniques for creating a dedicated home practice space. Kalra, who draws on his own history with anxiety and a sensitive nervous system, designed the content to bridge the gap between academic yoga philosophy and practical, everyday application. Participants are guided through eight specific methodologies, including Anapana breath awareness, Metta loving-kindness, and visualization exercises.
YogaRenew Launches Guided Meditation Course for Beginners
Hoboken-based YogaRenew is expanding its digital curriculum with the launch of "Intro To Meditation," a self-paced program aimed at demystifying the practice for newcomers. Led by philosophy scholar Ben Kalra, the course provides a structured framework for building a daily habit while navigating common hurdles like an overactive mind.

Access to the course is integrated into the existing YogaRenew app subscription, priced at $11 per month or $84 annually. By offering these tools through a mobile interface, the company aims to lower the barrier to entry for users seeking to manage stress through consistent, expert-led instruction. The program is currently available for download via the App Store and Google Play.
