The new authorizations grant apiphani the ability to source software licenses and develop proprietary integrations, effectively shifting the company toward a unified buy-build-run model. By controlling both the implementation and the operational management of SAP estates, the firm aims to eliminate license waste and ensure that software investments translate into specific business outcomes. Central to this strategy is LuumenAI, the company's proprietary agentic-AI platform, which monitors complex systems to extract maximum utility from existing SAP infrastructure.
Apiphani Gains SAP Sell and Build Authorizations
Boston-based Managed Intelligence Provider apiphani has secured SAP PartnerEdge Sell and Build authorizations, completing a full-service triad alongside its existing Service credentials. The expansion allows the company to manage the entire SAP lifecycle—from initial license procurement and application development to ongoing AI-driven oversight of mission-critical environments.

Beyond simple implementation, the Build authorization establishes the company as an official developer of SAP-integrated intellectual property. These extensions and AI agents will be available directly through the SAP Store, marking a pivot for the 2018-founded firm. CEO Justin Folkers noted that the company’s objective is to move beyond the transaction of buying software, focusing instead on building AI-enabled capabilities that keep mission-critical landscapes optimized. The move follows a rigorous assessment of the firm’s business model and innovation credentials by SAP, confirming its standing as a strategic partner for companies operating in heavily regulated, security-conscious sectors.
