"If telling my story can help girls escape brothels or any kind of sexual abuse, I will keep telling it," Dolma stated, emphasizing her commitment to using storytelling as a tool for systemic change.
Firebird Documentary Highlights Survivor Resilience at HollyShorts
The short film Firebird premiered at the 22nd Annual HollyShorts Film Festival, spotlighting the harrowing true story of Dolma, a survivor who transitioned from a victim of trafficking to an advocate for others currently trapped in sexual exploitation within the Atlas Free global network.
Produced by Atlas Free in partnership with the Ally Global Foundation, The Apple of God’s Eyes, and Veto Agency, the project was featured in the festival's Social Impact category. Jeremy Vallerand, CEO and President of Atlas Free, described the film as an invitation for audiences to confront the realities of modern exploitation. The organization currently operates in over 67 countries, focusing on dismantling trafficking infrastructure and providing resources to local frontline groups. Following its Los Angeles debut, Firebird is scheduled for a screening at the DaVinci Film Festival, running September 25-26, 2026.
