Total LiDAR sales reached 719,200 units during the period, representing a 169.6% year-over-year increase. This growth reflects the company’s push into the Physical AI sector, supported by its new EOCENE SPAD-SoC architecture and the mass production of its E2 LiDAR model, which utilizes the proprietary Peacock chipset.
RoboSense Revenue Climbs as Robotics LiDAR Sales Surge 510%
RoboSense Technology reported a 30.2% revenue increase to RMB 1.02 billion for the first half of 2026, fueled by a 510.4% surge in robotics LiDAR shipments. The company is pivoting from a pure-play LiDAR provider toward a broader robotics platform, initiating commercial deliveries for new sensing and motion components.

Beyond LiDAR, the company is diversifying into three distinct robotics categories: "eyes," "skin," and "muscles." CEO Mark Qiu noted that these product lines are transitioning from development into commercialization this year, with initial deliveries of space cameras and tactile sensors slated for the third and fourth quarters of 2026. By focusing on these core upper-body components, RoboSense aims to provide the sensory and gripping capabilities necessary for embodied robots to interact with the physical world, moving away from its historical identity as a single-product provider.
