Under the new model, BOXABL takes full ownership of these projects. This transition aims to strip away layers of coordination costs and provide customers with more predictable, bundled pricing for their home installations.
BOXABL Shifts Strategy to Direct Real Estate Development
BOXABL Inc. is moving beyond its roots as a modular manufacturer by launching an internal developer arm in California. By securing its own licensed general contracting capabilities, the Nasdaq-listed company intends to bypass third-party intermediaries to manage the entire installation process, from initial permitting to final site foundation work.
Co-CEO Galiano Tiramani noted that this shift allows the company to compete more aggressively for large-scale commercial and municipal contracts. By acting as a full-service delivery partner, BOXABL can now bid directly on multi-unit developments. While the new general contracting capability is currently limited to California, the company plans to expand this footprint into additional states as market demand grows, either through new hires or by extending existing licenses to cover new jurisdictions.
