Teguar specializes in purpose-built systems designed for settings where standard commercial hardware fails, including waterproof industrial computers and medical tablets. By validating these units for use with IGEL OS, the companies aim to provide a stable foundation for organizations managing endpoints in hospitals, warehouses, and manufacturing floors. The IGEL Universal Management Suite allows IT departments to maintain consistent configuration and security policies across these specialized devices, regardless of their location.
IGEL Adds Teguar Hardware to Secure Endpoint Ecosystem
Specialized computing manufacturer Teguar has joined the IGEL Ready program, integrating its rugged industrial and medical-grade hardware with the IGEL Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform. This partnership targets organizations operating in demanding environments that require both hardware durability and centralized, immutable security management across distributed device fleets.

For industrial users, this integration supports reliable performance in harsh conditions, while healthcare providers gain a secure, centrally governed platform for clinical workstations. Jim Airdo, Senior VP of Strategic Alliances at IGEL, noted that the move addresses the growing need for physical durability coupled with rigorous endpoint governance. Kevin Jones, Teguar’s Global VP of Sales and Marketing, added that the compatibility ensures that IT teams can deploy secure, Zero Trust-aligned hardware without compromising on the specific environmental requirements of their workspaces.
