Piedmont Orthopedics Expands Macon Footprint with Physical Therapy

Patients in Middle Georgia now have streamlined access to rehabilitation services as Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta opens a dedicated physical therapy clinic at 1503 Bass Road. The new facility operates alongside the group’s existing orthopedic and sports medicine practice, aiming to simplify the recovery process for local residents.

Piedmont Orthopedics Expands Macon Footprint with Physical Therapy

The expansion follows the recent relocation of the primary orthopedic clinic to 1501 Bass Road, a move intended to accommodate rising regional demand for musculoskeletal care. By placing rehabilitation services directly next door, the practice intends to foster a more integrated treatment environment where surgeons and physical therapists can coordinate patient recovery plans in real time.

The Macon medical team has also grown with the addition of Bruce Byrd, M.D., who joins Dan Grahl, M.D., and Jared Hudspeth, M.D., to provide comprehensive care. According to Dr. Hudspeth, the new facility is a strategic step to improve service accessibility, helping patients return to their daily activities more efficiently after injury or surgery. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 478-200-5710 or visiting the practice’s website.
