The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between quantum research and operational computing environments. By integrating Anyon’s full-stack superconducting technology with Matrix Group’s expertise in high-performance computing, AI, and cybersecurity, the companies plan to deploy on-premises quantum infrastructure for governments and research institutions. Anyon’s architecture treats quantum processors as specialized accelerators, utilizing fourth-generation control electronics to facilitate high-speed, RDMA-based connectivity between quantum systems and existing GPU-accelerated environments.
Anyon Systems and Matrix Group Partner to Expand Quantum Infrastructure
Quantum computing developer Anyon Systems and Matrix Group subsidiary KMT Technologies have entered a strategic partnership to scale the international deployment of superconducting quantum systems. The agreement grants KMT exclusive distribution rights and authorizes the firm to handle installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical support for Anyon’s hardware.

Alireza Najafi-Yazdi, CEO of Anyon Systems, noted that the company’s current roadmap prioritizes the development of a 72-qubit platform, with subsequent systems expected to exceed 100 physical qubits. This scaling phase relies on KMT’s ability to provide localized engineering support, moving beyond traditional distribution to offer full lifecycle integration. KMT CEO Moshe Azar stated that the firm will build dedicated technical teams to manage the deployment of these systems, aligning quantum hardware with the broader, data-intensive requirements of modern enterprise and government infrastructures.
