The new Big Bang Original Soft Touch collection, available in All Black and All Red, utilizes a dedicated overmoulding process to embed a microscopic, fine-element texture into the case, bezel, dial, and strap. Rather than applying a superficial layer, Hublot has made this tactile surface an intrinsic part of the watch’s architecture. The All Black model continues the legacy of the 2006 monochromatic concept, while the All Red version applies this new sensation to the high-tech ceramic aesthetic first introduced by the brand in 2018.
Hublot Introduces Tactile Innovation to the Big Bang Original
Hublot is shifting the focus of its iconic Big Bang Original from visual impact to sensory experience. By integrating a proprietary textured rubber compound directly into the watch’s construction, the brand has created a timepiece designed to be felt as much as it is worn, marking a departure from traditional surface coatings.

Inside the 43 mm titanium case sits the in-house Unico chronograph caliber. This movement features a 72-hour power reserve, a column wheel, and a dual-clutch system, supported by five patented innovations. The watch retains the layered, three-dimensional aesthetic characteristic of the 2005 original, now refined with smoother lugs and a carbon-pattern dial. Each piece is supported by Hublot’s 5+5 warranty program, which offers up to ten years of coverage, underscoring the brand's commitment to the durability of its new material integration.
