Starting September 1, veterinary clinics can register for the Best Places to Practice program, a new benchmarking initiative from Today's Veterinary Business. Participants gain access to anonymized employee feedback regarding culture, work-life balance, and benefits. Beyond the data, top-performing practices earn public recognition in NAVC publications and on social media, providing a competitive edge in recruitment and employer branding.

Simultaneously, the VETTY Awards enter their tenth year, celebrating excellence in marketing and communications. The competition features new categories, including brand storytelling, rebranding efforts, and social media viral moments. Eligible work created between November 1, 2025, and October 31, 2026, will be honored during VMX 2027, scheduled for January 16–20 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Gene O'Neill, CEO of NAVC, noted that these programs serve to shine a global spotlight on the varied roles within the field, from receptionists to veterinary technicians.
