Tranter Scales Up Swedish Production with 5,000-Ton Press
A new 5,000-metric-ton press has begun operation at Tranter’s Vänersborg facility in Sweden, marking a significant push to bolster global heat exchanger plate output. The installation serves as the centerpiece of a broader site modernization, integrating manufacturing, service, and administrative functions into a unified, high-efficiency hub.

Brandy Moore, President and CEO of Tranter, characterized the expansion as a fundamental step in supporting long-term growth and maintaining reliability for international clients. Complementing the press, the site overhaul includes new factory and office facilities designed to foster closer collaboration among teams. Magnus Lindberg, Vice President of Tranter Europe and Middle East, noted that these improvements solidify Vänersborg’s position as a critical node within the company's worldwide manufacturing network.
