Hard Rock Secures Naming Rights for Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix

South Florida Motorsports and Hard Rock International have signed a multi-year agreement designating the hospitality giant as the official title partner for the Miami Grand Prix. The collaboration, which begins with the 2027 race, deepens a relationship that started when the event debuted in 2022.

The rebranding effort aligns the racing event more closely with the venue that hosts it, Hard Rock Stadium. Having served as a founding partner since the inaugural race, the hospitality brand will now have its name integrated into the official event title and logo. The agreement extends beyond simple signage, as Hard Rock plans to expand its role in managing live entertainment and hospitality experiences throughout the race weekend.

A central focus of the partnership remains the Hard Rock Beach Club, a prominent trackside hospitality zone located between Turns 11 and 13. The space is scheduled for a significant renovation ahead of the 2027 event to better accommodate its mix of live music, luxury viewing, and culinary offerings. This initiative builds on years of high-profile entertainment performances at the site, which have featured artists ranging from Post Malone to Ed Sheeran.

Katharina Nowak, President of the Miami Grand Prix, described the move as the start of a new era for the circuit, which is contracted to remain on the Formula 1 calendar through 2041. Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International, noted that the deal reflects the company's long-term strategy to leverage its global entertainment portfolio on one of the most visible stages in professional sports.
