The new insecticide utilizes a water-based formulation powered by ADAMA’s proprietary Ayalon™ technology. By combining novaluron and CTPR, the product targets both eggs and larvae, preventing infestations before they compromise crop health. This approach aims to provide a more consistent alternative to traditional treatments while reducing the reliance on organic solvents.
ADAMA Targets Latin American Produce Exports with New Dual-Action Insecticide
Latin American fruit and vegetable growers aiming for the U.S. market have a new tool to combat pest resistance. ADAMA Ltd. officially launched Ravari®, a dual-mode insecticide, designed to disrupt pest life cycles early while meeting the rigorous quality standards required for international produce exports starting this September.

Sandeep Sandhu, Head of Global Insecticides at ADAMA, noted that the product addresses the specific economic and biological pressures faced by modern producers. Field trials indicate that the treatment maintains efficacy across various chewing pests in crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and avocados. With a one-day pre-harvest interval and flexible tank-mix compatibility, the company intends to simplify integrated pest management for exporters operating in a competitive global landscape.
