Located at the Digital Realty Docklands campus, the facility serves as a proving ground where businesses can move beyond theoretical designs. CPI has installed its ZetaFrame Cabinet Systems, integrated with eConnect PDUs and specialized thermal management tools, to simulate demanding AI workloads. This setup addresses common deployment hurdles such as rack-level heat density, power distribution efficiency, and complex cable management.
Chatsworth Products Joins Digital Realty London Lab to Stress-Test AI
Infrastructure manufacturer Chatsworth Products (CPI) has joined the Digital Realty Innovation Lab in London to provide enterprises with a production-grade environment for validating high-density AI and hybrid cloud hardware. The partnership allows firms to pressure-test thermal and power systems before committing to full-scale, real-world data center deployments.

Séamus Dunne, Managing Director for Digital Realty in the UK and Ireland, noted that the collaboration aims to de-risk capital-intensive AI projects that were previously built on faith rather than verified performance data. By providing access to a live, highly connected ecosystem, the initiative enables companies to optimize their infrastructure configurations and accelerate time-to-value for new computing architectures.
