The core of the system is the Exo-Belt, which houses the battery, controller, and proprietary algorithms. Users can attach the Ascentiz-H module for hip propulsion or the Ascentiz-K module for adaptive knee augmentation, securing them via a MOLLE quick-release structure in seconds. The H module targets walking and running efficiency, while the K module provides dynamic support and impact management for stairs and uneven terrain. Both units utilize Adaptive Motion Intelligence to recalibrate assistance in real time based on the user's immediate environment.
Ascentiz Debuts Modular Exoskeleton Platform at IFA 2026
At IFA Berlin, Ascentiz unveiled the world’s first modular exoskeleton system, allowing users to swap hip and knee support modules on a single wearable base. By moving away from fixed, full-leg devices, the company aims to provide a flexible platform that adapts to specific physical activities through interchangeable hardware components.

Underpinning the hardware is BodyOS, an open-source software foundation designed to ensure compatibility across current and future modules. Cody Kou, Vice President of Ascentiz, noted that the modular architecture prevents users from needing to replace entire devices as their physical needs evolve. The system relies on AZ-Lock mechanical connections and CAN-FD communication layers to maintain synchronization between components. The H Pro and Ultra models are currently priced at €1,599 and €2,299 respectively, with K and combined configurations ranging up to €3,999. The technology is on display at Hall 12, Booth 109, through September 8.
