The launch of the two-level Hall 2, designed by GMP, represents the primary stage of a €60 million investment aimed at modernizing the Vicenza exhibition centre. This expansion provides the physical capacity required to house T.Gold, the event’s dedicated showcase for jewellery manufacturing technologies, which will now run twice annually in Hall 4. By embedding additive manufacturing, automation, and sustainability solutions alongside finished product displays, the organizers intend to bridge the gap between technical innovation and retail-ready goods.
Vicenzaoro September 2026 Debuts New Hall and Expanded Tech Integration
A 23,000-square-metre exhibition hall opens its doors in Vicenza this week, anchoring a major infrastructure upgrade for the Italian Exhibition Group. As 1,300 exhibitors arrive from 38 countries, the trade show shifts its operational focus to integrate high-tech manufacturing directly into the core of the global jewellery supply chain.

Matteo Farsura, Global Exhibition Manager for Jewellery & Fashion at IEG, characterized this shift as a transition toward a more cohesive knowledge platform. Beyond the floor expansion, the September edition hosts the CIBJO Centenary Congress, drawing 400 industry leaders to discuss international standards and gold market trends. This strategy reinforces the 'Jewellery Boutique Show' model, which aims to consolidate gemstone, component, and packaging sectors within a single, interconnected ecosystem.
