Christian holds a degree in biology from Hamilton College.
Pillar Biosciences Adds Industry Veterans to Board of Directors
Pillar Biosciences has appointed Todd Christian and Yann Echelard, Ph.D., to its board of directors, a move aimed at accelerating the company's next-generation sequencing automation and diagnostic commercialization. The appointments follow the closing of a strategic financing round on July 31, 2026, intended to scale global cancer testing access.
Yann Echelard, a partner at ORI Capital, offers three decades of expertise spanning biotechnology research, clinical development, and corporate management. Having previously served as an operating partner at Flagship Pioneering and as CEO of rEVO Biologics, Echelard has a track record of founding and guiding life sciences organizations. He currently serves on the board of TG Therapeutics and advises the Gene and Cell Therapy Institute at Mass General Brigham.
