While competitors race to build humanoid assistants for household chores, OlloBot founder Lyn Fang argues that the industry’s primary challenge lies in the nature of the bond between machine and user. OlloBot recently pushed back its anticipated Kickstarter campaign, citing a need to ensure product readiness and better align with shifting regulatory landscapes. This delay highlights a deliberate departure from the rapid-release cycles typical of the consumer robotics sector.
