Bank of America to Redeem $2 Billion in Senior Notes

Bank of America Corporation plans to retire $2 billion in debt on September 15, 2026. The move targets two specific series of senior notes due in 2027, clearing the outstanding principal balances of $500 million in floating rate notes and $1.5 billion in fixed/floating rate notes from its balance sheet.

The redemption price for both series is set at 100% of the principal amount, with accrued and unpaid interest payable up to the redemption date. Once the deadline passes, interest accrual on these instruments will cease entirely. The transaction will be processed through the facilities of The Depository Trust Company, with The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A. serving as the designated trustee and paying agent.
