Procare Solutions Acquires Child Care Tech Platform Playground
Denver-based software provider Procare Solutions has acquired Playground, an all-in-one child care management platform, to bolster its suite of AI-driven tools. The deal integrates Playground’s intuitive design and administrative AI assistant, Camber, into Procare’s existing network, which currently supports more than 40,000 centers across the United States.
Despite the acquisition, Procare confirmed that current operations remain unchanged for users of both platforms. Centers will continue to utilize their existing software interfaces and support teams without immediate transition requirements. This move follows Procare’s recent release of RoomRunner, an AI-powered enrollment tool, signaling a sustained push toward automating administrative workflows in the child care sector. Playground, founded by Daniel Andrews, Josh Andrews, and Sasha Reiss, currently services over 5,000 programs, all of which will now fall under the Procare umbrella.
