The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between initial discovery and final sale. By converting static content into AI-driven experiences, authors can offer readers a way to test the value of nonfiction concepts or immerse themselves in fiction universes. This approach shifts the marketing paradigm from passive promotion to active engagement, providing authors with data on reader interests while giving potential customers a tangible reason to buy.
Storiad and Bitta AI Partner to Transform Books Into Interactive Assets
Storiad, a marketing platform for authors, has partnered with Bitta AI to introduce the Living Book, an interactive format that enables prospective readers to engage directly with text. The tool allows users to practice methodologies, query ideas, or explore narrative worlds before committing to a purchase.
For nonfiction, the technology allows readers to apply frameworks to their own real-world scenarios or practice negotiation and business techniques. Fiction authors can leverage the platform to facilitate character interactions and world-building explorations. Ramzi S. Hajj, founder and CEO of Storiad, noted that the platform provides a fundamentally different way to demonstrate value compared to traditional advertisements or excerpts. According to Bitta AI CEO Siyuan Guo, the intention is not to replace the book, but to provide an additional layer of discovery. The partnership initially focuses on nonfiction titles, with plans to expand fiction capabilities as the integration scales within Storiad’s marketing ecosystem.
