The Kansas City site marks a departure from the company’s traditional multi-brand model, which currently services agricultural and construction clients across 14 regional locations. Since first partnering with JCB in 2019 to supply wheel loaders and telehandlers, KanEquip has elevated the manufacturer to its second-largest product line behind CNH brands Case IH and New Holland. In 2025, the firm earned global recognition as one of the top three Fastrac dealers worldwide.
KanEquip Launches First Dedicated JCB Dealership in Kansas City
A strategic shift in the Kansas City equipment market has paved the way for KanEquip to open its first location devoted exclusively to the JCB brand. By acquiring talent from the former CSTK operation, the dealership aims to anchor its regional expansion on seasoned staff familiar with local construction needs.

Grant Meinhardt, Vice President and General Manager, noted that the expansion was driven more by human capital than geography. When Trane, Inc. acquired CSTK, KanEquip moved to hire the experienced technicians and sales staff who had managed the JCB line since 2014. Retaining this expertise allows the company to maintain continuity in service, parts, and equipment support. The new facility now serves as a central hub for the company’s Kansas-based operations, signaling a long-term commitment to growing its footprint within the metropolitan business community.
