Bakersfield, California, now serves as the anchor for a new regional supply chain strategy, as Explore Industries opens its first West Coast ExploreBase. The facility, operational since September 1, aims to slash delivery times and transport costs for dealers across five states by decentralizing inventory management.
Beyond acting as a logistics hub, the facility functions as a training center designed to bolster dealer expertise. General Manager Aaron Altamirano will lead the site, overseeing regional sales and inventory coordination. According to Global CEO David Pain, the investment represents a shift toward localized infrastructure, moving resources closer to the end market to ensure sustained growth across the western United States.
