The Association of Contracting Plumbers of the City of New York has donated $121,500 to the Feeding Families Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing meals to parents of hospitalized children. The funds, raised during the group's annual charity golf outing, will accelerate the foundation’s expansion into New York City and Long Island hospitals.
Vincent Aspromonte Jr., an executive board member of the Association of Contracting Plumbers (ACP), spearheaded the nomination for this donation after learning of the foundation's history. The organization was established by Jeff Dorman following his own family's experience during his daughter’s leukemia treatment. For the ACP, the donation represents a strategic investment in a proven model, with leadership noting that the foundation’s ability to provide immediate, tangible relief to families aligns with the association's focus on public health and community service.
