Investors Face Class Action Against Datavault AI Over Misleading Claims

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Datavault AI Inc. following allegations that the company inflated its business prospects and trading volumes. The litigation centers on claims that the firm misled investors between September 2024 and October 2025, leading to a sharp decline in share value.

Investors Face Class Action Against Datavault AI Over Misleading Claims

The complaint, spearheaded by the law firm Robbins LLP, targets Datavault AI—formerly known as WiSA Technologies—for failing to disclose critical information to shareholders. Plaintiffs allege that the company overstated the economic value of partnerships with firms such as Burke, Scilex, and Nature's Miracle. Furthermore, the suit claims that trading activity on the Datavault platform was minimal, contradicting public assertions made by the company. The lawsuit also highlights undisclosed ties to a convicted felon, which plaintiffs argue posed significant reputational risks.

The legal action follows a report published by Wolfpack Research on October 31, 2025, which characterized Datavault as a stock promotion scheme reliant on empty claims regarding artificial intelligence and quantum computing. The report alleged that the company’s press releases were filled with deceptive buzzwords that failed to reflect actual business operations. Following the publication of these findings, Datavault AI's stock price dropped 19.44% to close at $2.03 per share.

Investors who purchased securities during the specified class period may be eligible to participate in the litigation. Those seeking to serve as lead plaintiff must submit their applications to the court by October 5, 2026. Robbins LLP is managing the case on a contingency fee basis.
