RLH Equity Partners Backs AI Consultancy Climb

With a focus on the Databricks ecosystem, RLH Equity Partners has secured an investment in Climb, a consultancy firm designed to help enterprises transition artificial intelligence projects from experimental phases into full-scale production environments.

RLH Equity Partners Backs AI Consultancy Climb

Founded by tech entrepreneur JP La Torre, Climb specializes in data engineering and AI deployment, catering specifically to sectors like healthcare, life sciences, and financial services. The firm aims to bridge the gap between complex data infrastructure and tangible business results by leveraging the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. La Torre, who previously founded the AWS-focused firm Caylent, has recruited a team of seasoned professionals to scale operations in a market where businesses are increasingly desperate to unify their fragmented data and analytics frameworks.

For RLH Equity Partners, the transaction marks the second investment from its fifth institutional fund. The move aligns with the firm’s long-standing strategy of partnering with founder-led, knowledge-based services businesses. Managing Director Mark Gartner noted that the investment grew out of a year-long professional relationship, during which the firm observed La Torre’s ability to build client-centric organizations. As enterprises scramble to translate heavy AI spending into measurable outcomes, RLH is positioning Climb to become a primary service provider for organizations navigating this transition.
