ISPE Unveils Keynote Lineup for Berlin Pharma 4.0 and Biopharma Event
Berlin will host the inaugural integrated ISPE Pharma 4.0 and Biopharma Conference this December, bringing together global industry leaders to bridge the gap between digital transformation and biologics. The event focuses on applying advanced manufacturing principles to complex therapies, including cell, gene, and mRNA-based medical technologies.

The featured speakers include Chris Grail of Bayer AG, Jochen Maas, formerly of Sanofi, and Peter Neubauer from Technische Universität Berlin. Rounding out the sessions are Kerstin Seemann from Merck KGaA, alongside Adrian Widmer and Jan Wokittel representing Roche. These experts will address the realities of implementing AI and smart manufacturing within highly regulated environments. Markus Zeitz of Takeda noted that the sessions prioritize real-world lessons, specifically targeting data readiness and scalable operations for the next generation of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
