The V-SQUARE targets a common pain point in the construction industry: the difficulty of maintaining precision when aligning vertical frames. Its adjustable design simplifies the layout process, offering a faster alternative for general contractors, architects, and window installation specialists. By providing a reliable reference for spacing, the tool reduces the margin for error during framing projects.
La Mirada Inventor Debuts V-SQUARE Tool for Precision Framing
A La Mirada-based inventor has introduced the V-SQUARE, a patent-pending device designed to streamline the installation of vertical building members. By allowing builders to measure two distances simultaneously, the tool aims to replace the time-consuming manual processes typically required to create consistent, square openings for doors and windows.

Currently, the invention is being managed by InventHelp’s Orange County office and is available for licensing or acquisition by manufacturing firms. The device represents a shift toward more specialized, efficiency-focused equipment for both professional construction crews and residential DIY enthusiasts.
