The collaboration integrates LOXO’s Digital Driver—the first platform to secure approval for driverless operations on European public roads—with the engineering and data systems expertise of DXC Technology. While autonomous vehicles have demonstrated technical feasibility in controlled environments, they often lack the back-end integration required for day-to-day logistics. By connecting LOXO’s software to existing fleet orchestration, data services, and operational workflows, the companies aim to streamline the deployment of driverless light commercial vehicles between hubs and warehouses.
DXC Technology and LOXO Partner to Industrialize Autonomous Logistics
Facing a projected shortage of 750,000 truck drivers by 2028, logistics firms are turning to automation to solve mounting cost and capacity pressures. DXC Technology and Swiss-based developer LOXO have formed a strategic partnership to shift Level 4 autonomous delivery from isolated pilot programs into repeatable, large-scale enterprise operations.
This initiative targets the specific complexities of the European logistics market, including regulatory alignment and defined, repeatable route structures. According to Amin Amini, CEO and Co-Founder of LOXO, the partnership provides the necessary engineering depth to transform proven driving technology into commercially viable logistics infrastructure. Karim Jeribi, Europe General Manager at DXC, emphasized that the goal is to move beyond the vehicle itself, focusing on the systems that allow autonomous logistics to function reliably within global supply chains.
