Brooklyn-based Planet X Studios will serve as the engine for a new YouTube news series, marking a partnership between Culture Creators and Dream Planet. The collaboration aims to blend high-tech production capabilities with a talent-first approach to covering the trends currently shaping fashion and global entertainment dialogues.
Production will utilize the East Williamsburg facility's volumetric capture and LED technology to anchor the show, which will also distribute content across Substack and social channels. This project serves as the inaugural effort for the newly formed Culture Creators Studio, a dedicated arm for developing original intellectual property and long-form programming.
Joi Brown, founder of Culture Creators, noted that the move provides a necessary stage for emerging voices to reach broader audiences. Dream Planet co-founder Rob Young emphasized that the partnership relies on pairing strong creative concepts with the studio’s technical infrastructure to scale content across multiple platforms.
To fill the show’s primary hosting roles, the companies have scheduled an open casting call for October 7, 2026, at 180 Maspeth Avenue. Prospective talent must complete an official application to secure a confirmed appointment, as walk-ins will not be permitted at the studio. Following this initial project, the companies plan to announce a slate of additional media developments in the coming months.
