Wesco Secures Third Consecutive Great Place To Work Certification

Eighty-three percent of Wesco International employees identify the Pittsburgh-based supply chain giant as an exceptional workplace, a figure that significantly outpaces the 57% national average for U.S. companies. The designation, awarded by Great Place To Work for the third straight year, relies exclusively on direct, anonymous staff feedback.

The internal survey data highlights specific strengths in the company's organizational culture. Management earned high marks for inclusivity, with at least 89% of respondents stating they are treated fairly regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation. Beyond cultural metrics, the company demonstrated operational stability: 97% of participants confirmed the workplace is physically safe, while 91% reported the ability to take necessary time off.

Anthony S. Marino, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, attributes these results to the alignment between the company's workforce and its service-oriented mission. Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work, notes that such certification serves as a benchmark for high-trust environments, a standard now held by the Fortune 500 distributor for three consecutive years. Wesco, which operates across 50 countries with roughly 21,000 employees, continues to utilize these internal insights to bolster retention and recruitment efforts as it manages its $24 billion annual business footprint.
