According to CEO Alexander Henschel, the company will maintain its commitment to existing customer agreements throughout the handover period to ensure service reliability and continuity.
EYKON Divests Water Metering Division to Sensus International
Two AURELIUS Midmarket portfolio companies are reshuffling their assets as EYKON moves to offload its water meter business to Sensus International. The deal allows EYKON to narrow its strategic focus toward advanced connectivity and digital utility solutions, while Sensus absorbs the division to bolster its dedicated metering infrastructure.
Sensus International, which employs over 800 people globally, will integrate the new assets into its existing portfolio of thermal energy and water metering solutions. For AURELIUS, the transaction aligns with its history of managing complex carve-outs and platform build-ups. While EYKON pivots toward its digital utility services, the sale provides a clearer operational mandate for both organizations to pursue their respective market strengths.
