Reins CEO Chris Buttenham to address contractor retention at Pantheon

Contracting business owners face a recurring struggle: keeping top talent from walking out the door. Chris Buttenham, CEO of Reins, intends to tackle this attrition crisis head-on at the upcoming Pantheon conference in Orlando, where he will outline strategies for linking employee rewards to measurable company growth.

Buttenham’s session, scheduled for October 6 at 11:15 a.m., focuses on "Alternative Equity," a framework designed to incentivize key staff without requiring owners to relinquish control. The presentation aims to shift the perspective from simple salary compensation to long-term ownership planning, offering a roadmap for succession and value creation.

This appearance follows the launch of Reins’ AI-powered Valuation tool, which provides business owners with real-time data on their company's worth. By pairing this valuation data with structured incentive plans, Reins claims owners can better align employee performance with specific financial milestones. The company, which operates out of Las Vegas, has already facilitated over $50 million in incentives across trades such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. In addition to his breakout session, Buttenham will represent the firm at Booth 209 throughout the three-day event, which runs from October 5–7.
