Event Director Alessandra Astolfi reports a 10% increase in international participation for this year’s gathering, which utilizes 30 exhibition halls to showcase advancements in waste management, bioenergy, and the Blue Economy. The conference schedule, curated by Professor Fabio Fava and the Scientific Technical Committee, centers on the implementation of the European Circular Economy Act, with dedicated tracks addressing the complexities of the textile sector and paper recycling.

A significant portion of the program investigates the intersection of environmental policy and international development. The States General of the Green Economy kicks off the event, while the 6th Africa Green Growth Forum highlights collaborative efforts between Italian stakeholders and the Mediterranean region under the Mattei Plan. Beyond policy, the sessions integrate technical analysis of NRRP-funded projects, sustainable finance, and ESG strategies, providing a roadmap for investment in regenerative systems and soil restoration.
