Standlee Turns Forage Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For the sixth consecutive year, Idaho-based forage producer Standlee is swapping its standard green Grab & Go bale packaging for pink. The campaign, which has become a staple in agricultural communities, aims to raise funds and visibility for breast cancer research and support services throughout the month of October.

The initiative, titled Grab & Go to Give, distributes limited-edition bales to retailers nationwide. While the visual branding changes to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the company maintains that the forage quality remains identical to their standard products. Last year, the campaign generated $65,000 in donations, which were distributed to various research and support organizations.

This year, the company has expanded its efforts by launching a line of branded apparel and merchandise. Net proceeds from these sales will benefit five specific partners: the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Rein In Cancer, the Rural Gone Urban Foundation, and Horses and Hope. Jessica Wright, VP of Marketing at Standlee, noted that the campaign remains a deeply personal mission for the company, intended to foster community support for those navigating the disease within the equine and agricultural sectors.
