PMET Resources Amends Shaakichiuwaanaan Technical Report

PMET Resources has refiled its technical report for the Shaakichiuwaanaan lithium project following a mandatory review by Quebec’s securities regulator. The update addresses specific compliance requirements regarding disclosure and formatting, though the company confirms that the core economic and technical findings from its 2025 feasibility study remain unchanged.

The amended document, filed on SEDAR+ on October 2, 2026, corrects technical irregularities identified by the Autorité des marchés financiers. These adjustments involve clarifying qualified persons' certificates, map formatting, and providing additional detail regarding the economic extraction potential for caesium, tantalum, and gallium. The company emphasized that these revisions are strictly for compliance purposes and do not alter the project’s previously established life-of-mine plan or resource estimates.

Management noted that this filing is distinct from a separate, comprehensive feasibility study currently in development. That upcoming report, which will incorporate updated tantalum economics, remains on schedule for release in the fourth quarter of 2026. PMET Resources continues to advance its district-scale property in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region, which holds significant reserves of lithium, tantalum, and caesium.
