The amendment, finalized through the company’s Bolivian subsidiary, Empresa Minera Paitití, S.A. (EMIPA), recalibrates the debt schedule to mirror the operational timeline of the Don Mario site. By shifting the deadline, the company aims to better align its repayment obligations with the projected output of copper cathodes and gold-silver doré from its oxide stockpiles.
Orvana Minerals Extends Debt Maturity for Don Mario Project
Orvana Minerals Corp. has secured a six-month extension on its $25 million prepayment facility with Trafigura Pte. Ltd., pushing the final maturity date from December 2026 to June 2027 to accommodate the ongoing production ramp-up at the Don Mario Oxides Stockpile Project in Bolivia.

Orvana, which also maintains mining interests in Spain and Argentina, continues to face the standard operational risks associated with extraction, including commodity price volatility and the technical challenges of scaling production. The company’s ability to meet the revised schedule depends heavily on the successful execution of its production plan at Don Mario and consistent metallurgical performance.
