Bambusa Therapeutics Taps Jonathan Lieber as New CFO
Jonathan I. Lieber, a veteran executive with over three decades of financial leadership in the life sciences sector, has joined Boston-based Bambusa Therapeutics as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment comes as the clinical-stage biotech firm looks to accelerate its pipeline of bispecific antibodies for immunology and inflammatory conditions.
Founder and CEO Shanshan Xu pointed to the company’s current expansion phase as the primary driver for the hire. Bambusa is currently advancing a series of clinical and preclinical programs, including BBT001 for atopic dermatitis and BBT002 for Type 2 inflammatory disorders. Lieber will oversee the firm’s financial strategy as it transitions toward its next set of clinical milestones.
