The new feature embeds Solana-based stablecoins directly into the existing Samsung Wallet ecosystem, allowing users to send funds alongside their digital IDs, boarding passes, and payment cards. Integrated fiat on- and off-ramps will handle the conversion between local currencies and USDC, ensuring that the underlying blockchain infrastructure remains largely invisible to the end user.
Samsung Integrates Solana Stablecoins into U.S. Galaxy Wallet
Starting late October 2026, 82 million U.S. Galaxy device users will gain the ability to conduct cross-border remittances directly through the Samsung Wallet interface. By utilizing the Solana network, the integration aims to strip away the technical friction typically associated with digital currency transfers for mainstream consumers.

Woncheol Chai, head of Samsung's Digital Wallet team, emphasized that the goal is to simplify global money movement without requiring users to navigate complex crypto tools. This move follows a period of rapid growth for the Solana network, which has processed over $5.25 trillion in stablecoin volume throughout 2026. According to Solana Foundation President Lily Liu, the partnership marks a shift where digital dollars move from niche crypto products toward standard tools for everyday financial interaction.
