Acer Hits 14-Year Revenue Peak as Diversification Efforts Pay Off
Acer Inc. reported consolidated revenues of NT$34.74 billion for September, a milestone that marks the company’s strongest performance for the month in 14 years. This surge represents a 17.6% year-on-year increase, signaling a broader recovery across the Taiwanese technology giant’s core hardware segments and emerging business ventures.

Beyond traditional hardware, Acer is successfully shifting its financial profile. Businesses outside of personal computers and displays now account for 34.7% of total group revenue, reflecting a 35.9% year-to-date growth. Specifically, the incubation units are showing significant traction, with Acer ITS Inc. reporting a 48.6% revenue increase and Acer Fashion Inc. posting a 15.1% gain. This diversification strategy appears to be insulating the company from the inherent volatility of the global PC market.
