Robo.ai Targets 10 Million Square Meters in UAE Composites Push

Ten million square meters of composite raw materials will flow from the UAE by 2027, as Robo.ai Inc. moves to anchor its manufacturing footprint in the region. The firm’s subsidiary, ALIF Holding, is launching ALIF Composites to supply carbon fiber and engineered components to the marine, energy, and mobility sectors.

Construction is already underway at the ALIF Holding Group Industrial Park in Umm Al Quwain, where the first phase broke ground on September 25. The company intends to begin production by the final quarter of 2026, positioning the facility to serve as a critical hub for regional industrial supply chains.

Beyond raw material production, the venture encompasses prepregs and custom engineering services. ALIF Holding aims to integrate these capabilities with the intelligent systems business of its sister entity, ALIF Maritec. By focusing on product validation and early-stage customer development, the group expects the new unit to transition from manufacturing trials to recurring supply contracts, creating a fresh revenue stream for the Nasdaq-listed parent company.
